A new national campaign brings together mind, body, beauty and soul across July to help Aussies feel better, brighter and more connected during winter.
This July, Australians are being encouraged to embrace the colder season in a new light with the launch of Wellness Month - a month-long invitation to slow down, tune in, and prioritise your wellbeing with curated content and experiences designed to boost your mood, energy, and sense of balance this winter, all centered on holistic self-care.
“We know winter can be isolating and tough on mental health,” says Rajneen Arora, CEO at Best Gift Group. “Wellness Month is about helping people reframe the season seeing it not as a time to retreat, but to reset, reconnect and come out stronger on the other side.”
It’s about flipping the script and using the winter months to lay the building blocks to your best, happiest self. Why should that just be reserved for summer?
Across the four weeks of July, the campaign will spotlight four areas of focus:
Week 1: Mind – Declutter your thoughts, quiet the mental noise, and rediscover focus.
Week 2: Body – Nourish yourself from the ground up, from what you eat to how you move.
Week 3: Beauty – Restore your glow with rituals that feed your skin, hair, body and spirit.
Week 4: Soul - Deepen connection with true meaning, relationships, and community.
Wellness Month will also include local challenges hosted by participating fitness studios across Sydney and Melbourne — such as Training Collective and select Peaches locations in New South Wales and select Recovery Lab locations in Victoria.
As temperatures drop, so too can motivation and mood. Various research from the Journal of Affective Disorders shows that serotonin levels drop during colder months, impacting mood and sleep. Similarly, Australian wellbeing studies have found that intentional health and connection practices are key to resilience in winter.
Wellness Month aims to turn winter into a time of restoration and reconnection, inviting people to engage in weekly themes focused on the mind, body, beauty and soul. From combating burnout and gut-friendly food to glow-up rituals and soulful storytelling, the campaign offers a wide range of ways to feel better, from the inside out.
For the inaugural Wellness Month, Best Gift Group encourages all Australians to follow along, take pause and dedicate their own experiences and activities for each pillar, to rejuvenate their mind and bodies.
